A useful panel of extras has Bias controls, a make-up gain button, a Mix dial and a ‘Knee’ Curve Knob. As with the others, the lack of manual and information on Positive Grid’s website is a frustration. You must decide whether an approach based on extending the capabilities of classic compression hardware appeals. Even if not, both the compressor and EQ bundles have an appealing sound for their price point.
