Getting A Great Stereo Image

The OB-6 sounds magnificent in stereo, particularly for pads, brass, leads and FX. You’ll hear the full benefit of the stereo effect engines in stereo and subtle amounts of chorus, delay and reverb can add some lovely width/animation to your sounds. Using short delays and reverbs is an often-used mix technique to widen and bring sounds to life and this works for the OB-6 too. Then of course there’s the beautiful ‘pan spread’ function that alternately pans voices across the stereo spectrum to add drama/width and in unison mode with several voices stacked, Detune also detunes/ spreads out the voices.
