Arturia MatrixBrute £1,619
Full Review: FM315 There’s very little not to love about the MatrixBrute. It oozes personality and can wear a lot of hats, from a warm, sweet monosynth to dirty ambient chord machine. Mind blown!
Novation Peak | £1,249 Review FM321 Peak is versatile and largely intuitive, with a unique sound that excels at dark, trippy, grainy electronica and FX. A worthy flagship for Novation’s synth line.
Behringer DeepMind 12 | £999 Review FM316 The DeepMind won’t undermine the market for characterful analogue polysynths, but it is flexible. It isn’t cheap, but it has plenty going on and a sound of its own.
ElektronAnalog Keys | £1,099 Review FM278 A system capable of great results, though perhaps held back by some ease-of-use issues. It’s built like a tank though.
Dave Smith OB-6 | £2,729 Review FM307 Has the essential Oberheim character/signature crossed with DSI’s sonic DNA – it sounds tight and modern with a nod to vintage Oberheims.
