How to… use sequence chaining for live sets

As the XD sequencer continues smoothly when changing patches, this enables seamless live sets. Each sequence can be a variation upon one theme (and you can save on the fly) or each could form the basis for an entirely new sonic exploration in your set. You can scroll through sequences smoothly using the parameter dial or store the programmes that form your live set into the 16 Favourite slots (selected by holding shift and pressing one of the 16 step buttons). This gives you 16 variations/sequences/songs to move between. A good start is to make two variations for each tune in your set (for an eight song set).
