THE DIGITONE

With its creative sequencing and multitimbrality, Digitone is great for building grooves and full patterns.

It’s a dark horse for percussion, and has some excellent drum presets that reflect this. Paired with a MIDI keyboard, or in Digitone Keys form, it can be great for live jamming bass and lead lines over the top of complex digital sequences.

THE OPSIX

Being monotimbral, opsix can only create one sound at a time, but its synth engine is deeper and UI control is more hands-on and accessible. This makes it fantastic for creating rich soundscapes, thick digital chords and complex leads – particularly with the unison feature engaged.
