Hacking MPE in Logic is a little bit more awkward. First of all, set up one of Logic’s instruments, such as Alchemy, to be MPE-ready by clicking the arrow at the bottom of the UI and engaging MIDI Mono mode, with a base channel of 1. Here you can also set your pitch bend ranges. Now create a MIDI clip and draw in some polyphonic notes.

We need to switch over to the Score Editor. Here we can select individual notes and, in the event panel on the left, assign each its own MIDI channel. With this done we can return to the piano roll. In the automation space below, we can now draw in pitch bends and expression automation for each MIDI channel, affecting just the notes assigned to that channel.
