Audiotent – Rectify u-he Diva Standard: £37 Deluxe: £57

Fans of the u-he Diva [did you know that stands for “Dinosaur Impersonating Virtual Analogue”, by the way?] love this softsynth for the way it captures the spirit of those iconic monophonic and polyphonic machines of yesteryear, today.

It’s a great synth all in all, but, if you haven’t got the magic touch required – and let’s face it, not everyone has – you might not be getting the best out of it. Luckily, the Audiotent studio crew have put together a sterling bank of 107 bleeding-edge presets [and the WAVs that made them], to give your twiddles a new twist.

The results are borderline epic. And, word on the street is that a whole slew of established producers like Yotto, Tim Green, Kellerkind and Moonwalk are all over this release, and have started making nasty noises with it themselves. So, get involved!
