The homescreen of Chromaphone shows you what sound you’re playing. While version 2 let you choose and couple a pair of resonators, version 3 doubles this to two pairs, and lets you mix them together. There are four macro controls available here too. There’s a very healthy selection of presets, and individual packs are available from AAS. There’s a range of sounds here, from the percussive hits that this instrument is so great at, to haunting, droning sustained sounds which often back up the percussive tones very nicely.
