We start messing with Lifelife Expanse’s module settings. Turning Crush down on the Format module reduces the intentional digital corruption. We increase the Width module’s Stereo effect to widen the image, and also increase reverb Time in the Space module. At the same time, we take to each module’s Tone control, staging the change in frequencies that happens with each processing step and coming out with a somewhat different result. Bypassing individual modules helps hear the effect.
