Flip reverse it >

-

Add Mirror onto a track, give it a couple of seconds and you’ll have conjured a reverse reverb effect, without the fuss of actually doing it in your DAW. In the right image, you can see the original audio (a snare) and a bounced (or ‘mirrored’) version of it. You can see that the snare’s signal is played backwards before the main sound hits. What you can’t appreciate as an image is the little drop just before the transient of the actual snare hits – a great touch, as anyone who’s ever set up a reverse reverb will attest.
