Get deeper into wavetables
If you’re not scared by the idea of drowning in wavetables, why not click the pencil icon in the oscillators’ upper right. In the murky depths of Serum’s Wavetable Editor, you can edit wavetables on a microscopic level. Interpolating between frames and stylishly drawing your own waves using the provided premade shapes is the simplest you can get here, so if the idea of additive-synthesis style FFT editing, randomising bins and manipulating partials brings on the terror sweats, you’d maybe be ill-advised to take the plunge. You can also enter your own formula to generate a wavetable. Go as deep as you dare!
