For the recent Graceland – The

Remixes project, Michael Gaiman assembled an all-star international cast of producers and gave them the challenge of reworking tracks from Paul Simon’s iconic 1986 LP. With such a broad spectrum of remixing talent assembled in one place, FM saw the perfect opportunity to get some invaluable insight. Over the next few pages, we pick the brains of various artists involved in the project to discover how they tackled their contribution to the album, and to quiz them on their approach to the art of remixing.
