How to… Master FX

> Per-Instrument effects aside, the TR-8S features a global Master FX section, used to apply a global DJ-style processing effect to the TR8-S’s entire output signal. Hold Shift and the Master FX’s On button, then use the Enter button and LCD display to choose an effect (Type), define the function of the Master Ctrl knob, and other setup parameters specific to your effect. Once set up, hit Kit to exit, then punch Master FX to On and twist its Ctrl knob. Like on Pioneer DJM-series mixers, you’ve got one-knob filters, overdrive, white noise, flanger, phaser and other processors that are suited to performers.
