How to… Motion recording and per-step settings

> Inspired by modern Korg and Elektron grooveboxes, TR-8S lets you record in Motion sweeps and per-step parameter changes for each Instrument channel. Toggle Motion Rec on, sweep a parameter, then turn Motion On to play back these automated changes over time. Hold Motion On and hit Clear to erase this data.

If Motion Rec is on, hold down a step as you alter parameters to lock changes to that step – useful for bass and melodic samples. Change Tune settings for individual steps on pitch-changing riffs. Hold Motion On and press an Instrument’s button to erase step data.
