MODX6 vs SY77 sound character comparison

Having tested both these synths extensively together, the MODX range has a more current sound with transparent high end and high mid area, whilst the SY77 has much deeper bass extension and thicker low mids which make it sound fatter and warmer in general, though this also means you may need to EQ that area more to thin it out.
