Galston, Glenorie and Hills Rural News - - News -

Arcadia Pony Club’s “Come and try” programme for riders aged between 4 – 25yrs with their own horses or ponies has started well with many new members joining the Club since the start of 2016.

“We feel very fortunate at Arcadia Pony Club to have so much to offer our members and we are keen to share it further via our “Come and try” programme” says Katie Breatnach, President of Arcadia Pony Club.

“We have fantastic grounds at the Rural Sports Facility provided by Hornsby Council which provide a safe environment for riding. Having each of the arenas fenced and the near perfect surfaces to ride on for rally days and to hold competitions on has given us so much positive feedback as well as new members in the past”, says Katie.

“We also have a strong membership base which means every child or teenager has a peer group of friends and other riders of the same ability. We have a great team of qualified Instructors as well regular clinics by external, specialist instructors, along with a specialised programme for our led and beginner riders” said Katie.

Just some of the new members for 2016 are pictured here including Ayla and Jack, Eve and Sunny, Bridgett and Charm, Rosie and Lolly, Shyla and Covergirl, Virag and Chocolate, Armani and Mel and Ella and Cindy!

Arcadia Pony meets the first, third and fifth Sunday every month at the Rural Sports Facility in Galston. We’d love to see you there! To find out more about Arcadia Pony Club please visitcadiapony
