This month we at­tempted to make soap with a lovely out­come. This has in­spired us to try more com­pli­cated de­signs and we look for­ward to learn­ing more about the process. Thank you to All Aus­tralian Can­dle Mak­ing Sup­plies for get­ting us started. can­dle­mak­

Sev­eral Gal­ston Branch ladies will be at­tend­ing the tea rooms at the Royal Easter Show this month, please show your sup­port and grab some tea and scones!

Also hap­pen­ing this month is the Group cook­ery and Hand­i­craft com­pe­ti­tion in Black­town, good luck to all who en­tered. Any­one who wins 1st prize will then go onto State level.

The CWA’s AGM will be held soon in Ar­mi­dale. This is an ex­tremely large event with ladies from all over the state at­tend­ing. We look for­ward to re­port­ing back on this event in May.

Our next meet­ing will be on Wed­nes­day April 11th. Choco­late mak­ing class will be held at our 9th May meet­ing. We meet at the Gal­ston Health and Com­mu­nity Cen­tre, cnr Glade and 17 Ar­ca­dia Road, Gal­ston. Vis­i­tors are most wel­come to at­tend.
