Rustic and Rural Artisan

-

A unique opportunity to peruse pottery, basket weaving, loom weaving and recycled vintage goods in a beautiful rural setting awaits you at the Rustic and Rural Artisan Weekend.

Ruth Fugar of Barakee Pottery will be exhibiting and selling her earthy handmade pottery on 5th-6th May. Sharon Bartle will have an amazing display of baskets and wreaths which are handcrafted using foraged vines and natural materials. Marie and Rod of Picket Fence Imports specialise in handcrafted timber wares and will have an array of eclectic pieces available for purchase. Talented loomweaver Rachel Rutt will also have her beautiful weavings on offer, handcrafted using natural and spun elements.

Come down and enjoy a relaxing lunch or coffee in the extensive cottage gardens at 135 Miller Road, Glenorie. There will be vegan and vegetarian whole food snacks prepared for you by Laura of Good Earth Kitchen as well as the Wanna Cuppa Coffee van to satisfy any coffee cravings.

As this will be happening the weekend before Mother’s Day it could be a nice opportunity to treat your mum to a pleasant day out!
