VERY Enjoyable GATHERINGS

This month , I have been honoured to be present at two very special gatherings in our local community.

Firstly, I was invited with my Mum to the 'Pioneers VŁčËñʧʞ ²č ÕŕÕčļ ļñ²ļ õĴ˃ Ĕİë²čõĴÕÑ ÕŕÕİŘ ŘÕ²İ ÊŘ ļñÕ Nursery and Garden Industry NSW & ACT (NGINA) for associatio­n members who pioneered the trade or are still working in the industry. As Life Members, my parents were/are invited every year and in recent years I have attended with Mum (except for last year when

c¤E" ČÕ²čļ ļñÕ ÕŕÕčļ ËĔŁĆÑčʧļ ëĔ ²ñÕ²Ñʱʣ ‹ñõĴ ŘÕ²İ it was held at the Galston Club. The speeches by both the President and the CEO were highly honouring, and members shared stories of nursery work in days past and present, and future ideas were also discussed. My Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed the luncheon and sharing.

One week later, I went with my husband to an ÕŕÕčõčë ë²ļñÕİõčë ²ļ ¤õĴõĔč ¤²ĆĆÕŘ õč İ˲Ñõ²ʣ ‹ñõĴ was organised by Pymble Ladies' College, the now ĔŖčÕİĴ Ĕê ¤õĴõĔč ¤²ĆĆÕŘʣ ‹ñõĴ Ŗ²Ĵ ² ëÕļʴļĔëÕļñ­Õİ ļõČÕ êĔİ čÕõëñÊĔŁİĴ êİĔČ ÊĔļñ ¤õĴõĔč ¤²ĆĆÕŘ Ĕ²Ñ and Geelans Road, and some past staff, to meet the ĭİÕĴÕčļ Ĵļ²êê ²ļ ļñÕ ¤²ĆĆÕŘʣ ‹ñõĴ ļĔĔ Ŗ²Ĵ ² ŖĔčÑÕİêŁĆ sharing occasion for all. Speeches by the School |İõčËõĭ²Ćʞ "İ S²ļÕ A²ÑŖÕč ²čÑ ¤õĴõĔč ¤²ĆĆÕŘ Ĵļ²êê showed their enthusiasm for, and commitment ļĔ ăÕÕĭõčë ļñÕ ¤²ĆĆÕŘ ²Ĵ ² ŖĔčÑÕİêŁĆ İÕļİÕ²ļ êĔİ students. The evening was encouragin­g for all ĭİÕĴÕčļ ļñ²ļ ¤õĴõĔč ¤²ĆĆÕŘ ŖõĆĆ ËĔčļõčŁÕ ļĔ ÊÕ ² blessing to all who go there.

After the speeches, we continued to share over dinner in the beautiful location of being near the Chapel, near the lake.
