We sat together in the lounge room looking out into the distant mountains and rolling hills... I couldn’t help but think to myself how truly amazing it is living in a place like this. We have a lot to be thankful for.

The sky was perfect today – so I took the roof off my wrangler. It was so peaceful watching the clouds change colour as the sun set, driving back into Dural. Everything was going great until about 7:00PM when I realised it had been raining for an hour or so and I hadn’t put the roof back on! The cupholders had little pools of water in them haha. Looks like I’ll be sitting on towels as I drive into church tomorrow morning!

I was sharing last time about how I ended up here as a church ĭ²ĴļĔİʣ êļÕİ ʂ ŘÕ²İĴ õč ]ÕŖ ®Õ²Ć²čÑʞ ČŘ ê²ļñÕİ İÕËÕõŕÕÑ ² āĔÊ ĔêêÕİ in Sydney, this time serving in youth ministry across Australia, NZ, ²čÑ ļñÕ ĭ²ËõţË õĴĆ²čÑĴʣ \Ř ĭ²İÕčļĴ ĭݲŘÕÑ ²ÊĔŁļ ļñÕ ÑÕËõĴõĔč ²čÑ decided to say yes. We sold our home – 81 Clovelly Road, Buckland’s beach - NZ, and moved to the central coast.

I happened to move to this school called Central Coast Adventist School. It’s an awesome school! They have such a powerful spiritual emphasis there. The chapel programs are awesome, the chaplains are really relevant and caring, and there is so much opportunity for students to buy in and play important roles.

I ended up getting involved because a friend named Aden told me to join the choir with him – he said it would be just us and all the girls, so I agreed. It actually turned out to be way better than I expected. I started to become part of something bigger than myself. And when our voices came together in harmony, singing songs about Jesus, my heart started to feel something coming alive.

More on that next time.
