Planting Trees for the Queen's Jubilee
Last month we celebrated Her Majesty the Queen’s 70 years on the throne serving our country and the Commonwealth.

Her service is remarkable, and her timeless values of duty, service and responsibility are an inspiration to people across our community, our country, and the world. In recognition of this special occasion, community-based tree planting J[JSYX \NQQ GJ MJQI FHWTXX &ZXYWFQNF 5QFSYNSL 9WJJX KTW 9MJ 6ZJJSX Jubilee will run over the next three years. The program will provide up to $15.1 million in grant funding to eligible groups and organisations for community-based tree planting events.

The program will be community led, giving groups the option of planting large shade trees in a school or civic centre, the chance to enhance a local park area or to commence a local greening project.
To be considered, projects must include formal commemorative events in 2022 to mark the Jubilee, plantings of regionally appropriate tree species, and installation of commemorative signage or plaques.
