I purchased this wreath frame made from galvanised wire at a succulent nursery, but you may also find them at craft stores and florists. You need a lot of support to hold the growing medium tightly within the circular frame. I like to reinforce the frame with galvanised tie wire. Thread it around one side of the frame at reasonably close intervals, then go around again, crisscrossing the wire to create a kind of mesh. This forms a nice cradle in which to lay down some sphagnum moss and potting mix.
