homemade soil sieve

I ‘inherited’ my father’s soil sieve, which I used for a few years. He made it from strips of particle board flooring and wire from a sprung bed base. It was adequate but I knew I could make something better. Seeing Tino’s segment on how to make a soil sieve prompted me to make one. My father’s old sieve went out in the hard rubbish collection recently so it was time I got busy – here is a photo of the finished product.
