As plants come back to life in spring, so do the pests! Like most problems, pests are best tackled as soon as possible. Go for a garden walk each morning and check new growth for aphids, thrips, caterpillars and other predators. Your fingers can be your best weapons for picking off and squashing pests while the numbers are still small.
