PREVENT FUNGAL PROBLEMS

Summer is the season for fungal problems, especially in humid areas. Help reduce these issues by making sure plants have enough space to allow plenty of ambient air movement. Pick off diseased leaves as soon as they appear. Water in the morning so the leaves dry quickly or, better still, for disease-prone plants, use drip irrigation to wet the soil, rather than the foliage.
