CHRISTOPHER Martin Rieker appeared in Gatton Magistrates Court charged with driving without due care and attention or driving without reasonable consideration for other persons using road or place. His Hyundai Getz was found damaged in trees on September 13. Police went to his address where he made full admissions to speeding and being distracted by his CD player. He was fined $400.
YOUSIF Al Ewayed, Sami Al Jourani, Ardhwan Ardhwan, Hussein Dakhel Midhwad and Bader Rashed appeared in Gatton Magistrates Court charged with public nuisance. On August 18 police received complaints after the men were running through Supa IGA Gatton yelling and blocking pedestrian traffic in Railway St. They trapped a man in the supermarket before staff intervened. Their behaviour scared staff and bystanders. Ardhwan was charged with wilful damage after he struck the same man’s car with a sandwich board. They were each fined $200 and Ardhwan fined $350.
They each agreed to a 12-month good behaviour bond towards their victim.
