Pren­zlau com­mu­nity gath­ers for fun day

HUN­DREDS gath­ered to cel­e­brate the first ever Pren­zlau Pride Day on the weekend and raise money for a good cause.

Pren­zlau State School and the Pren­zlau Fire Brigade joined forces to fundraise and hold a fun com­mu­nity event at the school.

Pren­zlau State School prin­ci­pal Lisa Noo­nan said the fundraiser went re­ally well.

“Peo­ple en­joyed their af­ter­noon out in the coun­try,” she said.

“The kids en­joyed the face paint­ing and Squirt the lit­tle fire truck.

“It will be big­ger and bet­ter next year.”

As well as the kids’ ac­tiv­i­ties there were school dis­plays, a Queens­land Re­gional tae kwon do demon­stra­tion, raf­fles and a show and shine fea­tur­ing around 40 cars.

Prin­ci­pal Noo­nan thanked ev­ery­one for com­ing along and ev­ery­one who gave up their time to help out on the day. RIGHT: Han­nah and James Her­rmann.
