Woman to plead not guilty to dog cruelty
AWOMAN from Regency Downs has appeared in the Gatton Magistrates Court facing two breaches of her duty of care to an animal.
While the facts were not presented, the court heard RachelWalsh would be entering a plea of not guilty.
Magistrate Bruce Schemioneck requested a brief of the matter to be supplied to the court by the RSPCA.
The Senior Inspector for Prosecutions for RSPCA, G. Sakrzdwski, said they would provide the brief within eight weeks.
Walsh asked the court if she could visit the dog, which was granted by Magistrate Schemioneck and Ms Sakrzdwski.
The case was adjourned andWalsh will face court again on February 1, 2016, for a hearing mention.
