Woman to plead not guilty to dog cru­elty

AWOMAN from Re­gency Downs has ap­peared in the Gat­ton Mag­is­trates Court fac­ing two breaches of her duty of care to an an­i­mal.

While the facts were not pre­sented, the court heard RachelWals­h would be en­ter­ing a plea of not guilty.

Mag­is­trate Bruce Schemio­neck re­quested a brief of the mat­ter to be sup­plied to the court by the RSPCA.

The Se­nior In­spec­tor for Pros­e­cu­tions for RSPCA, G. Sakrzd­wski, said they would pro­vide the brief within eight weeks.

Walsh asked the court if she could visit the dog, which was granted by Mag­is­trate Schemio­neck and Ms Sakrzd­wski.

The case was ad­journed andWalsh will face court again on Fe­bru­ary 1, 2016, for a hear­ing men­tion.
