Swinging for a good cause
More than 40 golfers hit the greens of the Laidley Golf Club for a good cause on Sunday.
The Rotary Club of Lockyer Valley held their annual golf which helped to fundraise for drought relief.
Rotary Club of Lockyer Valley president John Schollick said it was the third time the golf day had been held.
“It’s good because it gets the members and all the their friends and other people involved and its all for a good cause,” Mr Schollick said.
The Gatton Guides ran the barbecue on the day for players too.
Aside from a good day of golf, a number of fun competitions were also held.
The winners: Daniel Hauser and Jodie Edwards, second prize: Anthony and Kaye Sipple, third prize: Terry Kirkwood and golf partner.
