THE Lockyer Uplands Catchments group is holding a second showing of the Lockyer in the Wild Nature Photography Exhibition 2018 at Ma Ma Creek State School this week.

The exhibition is the culmination of the group’s photography competition that ran from August to October, which aimed to get locals out and about into nature and learning about the Lockyer's amazing biodiversity.

The exhibition is open 9am-3pm to Wednesday, December 12 at Ma Ma Creek State School, and all are welcome to attend.

Lockyer Uplands Catchments president Diane Guthrie said the group is already planning the 2019 Lockyer in the Wild competition and encouraged nature lovers and budding photographers to put on their walking shoes and get an early start on finding that amazing photograph.

“The Lockyer offers thousands of subjects in nature to be appreciated and valued, from the smallest insects, delicate blossoms and curious fungi to the more visible and iconic koala, wallabies and water birds,” Ms Guthrie said.
