Top dog example

Gatton Star - - YOUR SAY -

I AM delighted to read in the Gatton Star of 5/12/18 that the council is establishing a leash-free dog park in Gatton.

May I respectfully suggest to the council to send two representatives to Buderim dog park.

It is in my opinion the best I have come across and I have seen several.

It is big enough to set aside a section for little dogs with plenty of shade and a dog fountain and a safety entry for dogs both small and big.

The big area is surrounded by a 6ft chain wire fence with a broad gate at the other end to enable mowers to come in and mow.

The big area has two pergolas with tables and benches for people to have picnics there, while their dogs run around freely.

It also has two dog fountains and two dog waste bags automats with one or two garbage bins to dispose of the waste.

I strongly advise to have a good look there and perhaps a word with the Buderim Council.
