Wit­nesses needed for two in­ci­dences

PO­LICE are call­ing on the com­mu­nity to as­sist in two sep­a­rate in­ci­dences in the Som­er­set re­gion.

Be­tween Jan­uary 28 and Fe­bru­ary 4, po­lice re­port a per­son or per­sons have en­tered an ad­dress on Eskdale Road and re­moved a black and red Mass­port lawn­mower, Stihl whip­per snip­per and other gar­den tools.

Too­goolawah Po­lice would like to speak with any­one who may have seen the sus­pects with the items, or know where the stolen prop­erty may be lo­cated.

The sec­ond of­fence is in re­la­tion to a bur­glary, which oc­curred on Mount Beppo Road, on Fe­bru­ary 2.

Some­time dur­ing the evening, crim­i­nals at­tended and caused sig­nif­i­cant dam­age to a ru­ral prop­erty.

Po­lice would like to speak to any mem­bers of the com­mu­nity who may have been in the area or seen a ve­hi­cle or peo­ple act­ing sus­pi­ciously.
