The market held up well despite the continuing dry conditions, with lines of cattle producing excellent results for vendors.

Paul Pereira, Pine Mountain, sold a line of Euro cross milk tooth heifers for $1330. Valda Andrews, Mt Whitestone, sold a line of Droughtmaster heifers, 20-22 months, for $1200 and milk tooth heifers for $975. Bevan and Lynn Bachmann, Lake Clarendon, sold quality 14-16 month old Charbray steers for $1140. Jim O’keeffe, Ingoldsby, sold lines of Charbray cattle, with 15 month old heifers making $900 and heifer calves $585. Robel Pastoral, Iredale, sold Charbray cows for $1130.
