Election promises

Gatton Star - - YOUR SAY -

ELECTION close upon us: So many millions thrown into the winds. So much waste of our finances, desperately needed toward building and supporting much-needed

water storage and other infrastructure. So much posturing with suddenly available squillions of dollars. Phantom finances.

Why was this promised funding, not provided toward these newly found, desperately needed, infrastructural improvements while these governments were in power?

None of the promises of the LNP, Labor, or other minor parties are cast in stone. Empty promises to boost the voting power needed. Too much of our industry, raw materials, our onshore power, communication and other services have been passed onto offshore control.

Too much of our funding is channelled into assisting the rape of our country, our Australia. For LNP to skite that they have guided our financial situation into “surplus,” is a play on words. This is only a budgetary surplus, leaving we Aussies with billions still owed to worldly financial institutions. We are not fooled as voters. We will vote intelligently.
