Few television series get so big that even their spinoffs have spinoffs of their own. This new Law & Order offering reintroduces former SVU detective Elliot Stabler (Chris Meloni), last seen in season 12 (circa 2011), who has returned to the NYPD after the devastating murder of his wife Kathy. Intent on finding her killers, Stabler sets his sights on the most powerful crime syndicate in the world. Suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder, the hot-headed cop is now in a class of his own when it comes to violence and impulsivity. Tonight, Stabler faces the consequences of a disastrous drug bust.
