WEST Australian police are scratching their heads over what charge to lay against a 32-yearold man who had a sword fashioned from the bill of a sawfish in his Pilbara home.
Police were called a b o u t 1 0 . 3 0 p m on Monday to Stewart Court, Millars Well, west of Karratha, over a disturbance involving a man armed with a sword.

A search uncovered the unusual weapon, described as 45cm long and very sharp.
Police are examining what charge to apply for possessing the weapon.
A man has been charged with disorderly behaviour in public, obstructing police and assaulting a public officer.
