Bridal waltz into city expo

-

MORE than 700 people and a host of brides-to-be visited the Geelong Bridal Expo at Four Points Sheraton at the weekend.

Expo organiser Tadas Adamavicius put the success of the event down to local businesses being able to help local people.

‘‘Instead of Googling, they can talk to experts face to face . . . it’s all under one roof,’’ he said.

Event publicist Diane Falzon said local businesses were quick to get involved and support the expo, which had a great flow-on effect, especially for reception venues in greater Geelong.

‘‘Instead of brides going to Melbourne, they stay in Geelong for their wedding,’’ she said.

Brides-to-be were spoilt for choice and were able to speak to dressmakers, photographers and florists ahead of their big day.
