Fear of a dangerous driver resulted in fine

-

I THOUGHTI’d write to you re your story about ‘‘Bloody idiots’’ ( GA8/ 10) which, by law, I’m one.

As a 76-year-old driver, I try to be careful on the roads.

I was driving along Ryrie St and got snapped between Garden and Humble streets doing 68km/h. I know why I was going fast. Adriver in the lefthand lane had nearly hit me, so I thought, ‘‘I’m getting out of here, he’s either drunk or on drugs’’.

I’ll take this on the chin asmy car is myonly way of getting around, so a $176 fine will make memore careful won’t it?
