Set in Portland, Oregon, in America’s Pacific north-west, Grimm follows homicide investigator Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), who at the beginning of the series learned from his aunt that he is part of a long line of hunters – known as Grimms – who are tasked with fighting supernatural forces and maintaining balance on Earth. Tonight, Nick and his wisecracking partner and best mate Hank (Russell Hornsby) find themselves in the middle of an ancient battle. Things get even more serious when the Wesen Council (Wesen are the supernatural beings visible only to Grimms) decides to stick its beak in.
