Fun on and off the fairways

SPORTS stars, comedians, politicians and professionals joined forces to share their love of golf at the Victorian Open pro-am at Thirteenth Beach golf links this week.

The two-day tournament, a precursor to what has become the premier event on the Golf Victoria calendar, attracted names as diverse as Cats Steve Johnson and Harry Taylor, Premier Daniel Andrews and comedian Andy Lee.

Professional Richard Green provided a highlight of the tournament with his hole-inone on Wednesday.
