Left to regret victory chance

-

BOTH Brisbane and Perth left nib Stadium feeling they should have won on Saturday night.

The Roar was left ruing a defensive mistake while league-leading Glory remains unworried about a six-game winless run.

The Glory scored first in Perth through 17-year-old Danny De Silva but then goals in the 60th and 62nd minutes for the Roar through Jean Carlos Solorzano and Matt McKay appeared to put it on track for a fourthstraight victory.

But a red card to Corey Brown in the 76th minute proved costly.

The Glory equalised through Dino Djulbic and then came agonisingly close to recording its first win since downing Melbourne Victory 2-1 in Geelong on January 2.

Glory remains on top of the ladder, three points clear, but faces Victory next Saturday at AAMI Park to determine top position.
