Immaculate facility open in the north

-

AFTER a decade, the Leen family is preparing to move out of the hardware trade by shutting its business Leen’s Building Supplies.

The decision to wind down that part of the family business, which has been involved in commercial demolition for more than 50 years, means an immaculate industrial facility at 2-12 Victor St, North Geelong is up for grabs

The 1557sq m warehouse with extensive concrete hardstand facilities is built on a 4141sq m property just off Thompson Rd.

Geelong West agents Darcy Jarman will take the property to auction in December.

Agent Tim Darcy said the property would be offered with vacant possession.

“It’s an immaculate industrial amenity,” Mr Darcy said.

“It’s a bit like a timber yard, or hardware store.

“This is one that could suit a potential end user, or conversely a speculative investor,” he said.

Leen’s Building Supplies opened as a separate business in 2007 and will close permanently this month.

The property will be auctioned on site on December 7 at 1pm. For details, contact Mr Darcy on 0418 522 523.
