Jacqui Patmore was charged on summons yesterday after a police probe into the alleged disappearance of funds from the Royal Geelong Agricultural and Pastoral Society.
The former real estate agent parted ways with the society early in 2016 after previously overseeing four annual shows during her time as executive officer.
It’s understood the not-forprofit organisation’s show committee raised the alarm with police almost two years ago.
Detective Sergeant Adam Forehan said the accused would front court in the new year. “Several hundred fraud- related charges have been laid,” he said.
“The investigation remains ongoing.”

Ms Patmore declined to comment on the case when contacted yesterday.
The Royal Geelong Agricultural and Pastoral Society’s primary focus is to operate the Geelong Show, which has been held annually for more than 160 years.
More than 100,000 people visit the Breakwater showgrounds for the annual event each year. The organisation is supported by a large volunteer base of 76 councillors and more than 100 co-opted members, according to its website.
