Cats get set to tie the knot

-

WEDDING bells are ringing for two of our favourite Cats couples.

Ruckman Rhys Stanley and model Kirsten Clemens (pictured), and teammate Mitch Duncan and partner Demi Miles are both set to walk down the aisle this wedding season.

It’s been a big year for Stanley and Clemens, who got engaged in January before welcoming their first child, Jagger, in February.

Christmas will bring the couple’s two families together in Perth, where they will tie the knot at an intimate ceremony days later.

Clemens, who recently wrapped up her role as Flemington’s Fashions on the Field ambassador for the Spring Racing Carnival, said between work and motherhood she’d been too busy to be a bridezilla.

“The wedding planning has definitely been on the backburner. My mum has pretty much been my wedding planner, she has been amazing,” Clemens said.

“I have been so laid-back about it I haven’t even finalised everything yet.”

Fellow parents Duncan and Miles, while tight-lipped on the exact date, are expected to wed even sooner.

Duncan celebrated his buck’s day with about 25 of his close mates last weekend.

He will be supported at the altar by four past and present teammates as groomsmen: Tom Hawkins, Josh Caddy, Andrew Mackie and Billie Smedts.

Miles celebrated a mini hens with her sister and maid of honour Zoe Miles in Melbourne in August.
