NOW that’s what you call a cover shot.
Ash Hughes’ stunning photo of Eastern Beach at sunset has been chosen as the cover image of the official 2019 Geelong calendar.
The calendar competition attracted more than 700 entries, before a public vote helped decided on the 12 images to be included.
The winning cover shot was selected by Geelong Gallery director Jason Smith. The 2019 Geelong calendar will be delivered to more than 110,000 homes across the city from next week.
An exhibition of the calendar photo entries will be held at the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre from January 15-29 next year.
