A MAN who picked a fight in the middle of the road is being hunted by police.

Police are appealing for community assistance to track down a man who confronted another man in Norlane on November 23.

Police say the wanted man was sitting in the passenger seat of a green Ford sedan that pulled up behind another vehicle that had stopped at a red traffic light at the intersection of the Princes Highway and Forster St about 9.30am.

The man, described as about 30 years old with short blond hair, got out of his car and approached the driver’s door of the vehicle in front and started a fight.

He then got back in the green Ford and drove off, police said.

The Ford is metallic green with a distinctive matte black bonnet and five-spoke mag wheels.

Police have released an image of the wanted person.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who knows where the car is should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
