KEEP your blue suede shoes behind the kerb in Friedberg, Germany.

The town where singer Elvis Presley was stationed as a US soldier (right) in the 1950s has installed pedestrian lights featuring images of the rock icon.

The red shows an image of Presley striking a pose at a microphone and the green depicts his trademark hip swivel dance.

Presley, who died in 1977, was stationed at the US Army’s Ray Barracks in Friedberg, north of Frankfurt, from October 1958 to March 1960.
