AND ANOTHER THING....

-

AUSTRALIA’S “interim” Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, last week roasted students who went on strike in an effort to push home issues on climate change. Apparently he would prefer to see more learning in schools, rather than student activism. Seriously? Seems you can get a job as PM in this country but still not get it. The very reason for their strike was due to their education and, wait for it — learning. These young people should have been congratulated, not scolded by a condescending Prime Minister. This is, after all, the world they, their children and their children’s children will inherit long after you, “Scomo”, and the rest of us have well and truly dropped off the perch. I’d say they’ve got a right to speak out. You owe it to them to listen.
