A jar full of good times
THE Nightjar Festival is celebrating its ninth birthday this year, with locals and visitors flocking to Torquay Common for its music, food and stalls this month.
The festival attracts more than 10,000 people each year and runs for eight weeks — every Thursday in January at Torquay before its smaller ‘sister’ version comes to Geelong every Friday in February.
Attractions include crafted beer and wine for the adults and a magic-themed kids’ corner, as well as an impressive bill of musicians.
