Booze, building tools among items pinched

IN Newcomb, an assault and theft from a motor vehicle were linked to a burglary where building tools and consumable­s were taken. In Belmont, building tools along with home audio and a TV were taken from a house. A mobile phone was taken from a flat in Norlane, computers from a house in St Albans Park, a TV in Geelong and alcohol from a home in Grovedale.

ALCOHOL was stolen from a retailer in Barwon Heads, clothing in Queensclif­f, cash from a restaurant in Geelong, and cash and cigarettes from a milk bar in Bell Park. A school in Whittingto­n had computers stolen, a handbag was taken from a retailer in Colac and cigarettes were pinched from a gaming venue in Fyansford. Retailers in North Geelong, Drysdale, Barwon Heads and Corio were also targeted, along with schools in Lara and Grovedale, and a factory in Moolap.

IN Corio, a Toyota sedan stolen from the street was found nearby, while a Nissan sedan taken from a driveway was recovered in Grovedale. A Nissan was also taken from the train station at North Geelong and later found in Grovedale. In Grovedale, a Holden was stolen from a carpark and later found in Lara, while a Toyota stolen from a house in Lara was found in Little River. A Holden sedan stolen in Moolap was recovered in East Geelong and a Mazda taken from a house in Ocean Grove was found in Thomson. A Hino truck pinched from a business in North Geelong, a Honda sedan taken from the train station in Lara and Yamahas stolen from a shed in Freshwater Creek, a house in Whittingto­n and a flat in Herne Hill are all yet to be found.

NUMBER plates were stolen in Norlane, Geelong, Corio, East Geelong, Manifold Heights and from cars at the Marshall and North Geelong train stations. In Geelong West, consumable­s and keys were stolen from a vehicle parked in the street, cash, credit cards and a purse were taken from a carpark in Barwon Heads, power tools were taken from a vehicle at a beach carpark in Ocean Grove, cash was stolen from a vehicle in Geelong and a handbag was taken from a car parked at a house in North Geelong.

THERE were damages to homes in Corio and Belmont as well as health clinics in Rippleside and Geelong. Vehicles were targeted in the streets of Torquay, Portarling­ton and Colac, while graffiti was reported at a supermarke­t and train station at Marshall, a constructi­on site in Whittingto­n and train stations in South Geelong, Corio and North Shore.
